Am I required to make my property available to Section 8?
Landlords are not required to accept section 8 vouchers in Florida. -
Are you licensed?
Yes. Lonnie Marindino is a licensed Broker and Erin McKeown is a licensed Broker’s Associate. -
Can I reach you after hours?
YES! There is a 24 hour emergency maintenance line for tenants and Lonnie provides his own personal cell phone number to all of our property owners. -
Can you put the money directly into my account?
Yes! We require you to have an account of file for your rent to be paid via direct deposit. -
Do I get to see the lease or sign it?
Yes, in Florida the owner is required to sign the lease. -
Do you sell real estate too?
YES! Property Management is only a small part of what Realty Experts Florida has to offer. All of our agents are SALES agents! -
How and when do I get my checks?
Your checks are deposited directly into your account automatically once the tenants check clears. -
How is rent collection handled?
Tenants pay online via a tenant portal. Realty Experts Florida Property Management draft the money from their accounts. Once the funds clear the owners portion is deposited directly into their account. -
How long of a lease do you sign?
At Realty Experts Florida PM we only handle long term rentals. Our minimum length for a lease is 12 months. -
How much security deposit do you charge the tenant?
Security deposits are equal to one months rent. Additional deposits and fees are required in the case of pets. -
How soon can you start managing my property?

What type of reports do I get and how often?
You get a yearly financial report at the end of every year. You also receive reports and statements any time maintenance is performed on your property. -
Who holds the tenant security deposit?
Deposits are held in a non interest bearing escrow account by REFPM. Owners and tenants are provided with the location of the bank holding this account.
